Hello and a massive welcome to the brand new youth work resource (youthworkresource.com) website!

Here at youthworkresource.com you’ll find a huge range of resources designed to aid you and your church in Christian youth ministry and outreach in both your community and in schools. We have session plans containing full outline with a guided age bracket (we recommend you read our guide to using written resources first – click here), we have games for all occasions ranging from messy to nice and dry suitable for all youth groups, school clubs and Christian Unions. We also have a growing range of schools resources including assemblies for secondary schools and primary schools too!

We also have a guide for planning, budgeting and running a residential for young people alongside some useful forms to help your everyday youth work and some links to help you find training, further resources and jobs.

Finally our blog contains thoughts on all things happening in the world of youth work plus reviews on the latest materials out there for your youth ministry.

6th December – CHRISTMAS ASSEMBLY! – We have a brand new Secondary Christmas Assembly online all about giving. Click here to have a look or click here to view all our assemblies which includes a few Christmas ones.

19th October – Plenty of New Sessions – If you head to our session area we have a new series titled ‘Needle and Haystack’ online…this is ideal for residential weekends and can also be found under our residential section under a new page titled ‘Content Ideas’ where we’ll be adding material ideal for following throughout a residential. We also have a new session on suffering online too!

29th September – 2 New Sessions – We’ve got 2 new sessions online. The first is all about following Jesus and what that means and the second is the first in a new series on Key bible characters and how they fit into the bigger picture. This series kicks off with Adam and Eve. Click here to check it out.

20th September – New Video – We’ve got a brand new video displaying some bible verses to do with God’s plan for our lives here (makes it more interesting than just reading passages with a group of young people.

20th September – Residential Sites Updated – We’ve updated the residential centres listed in our residentials section of our site…there’s quite a list now! Check it out here

July 2011 – Self Harm Session - We’ve put a new session all about self harm exploring what the bible says and teaching young people how to understand it and support a friend. It’s now online here
