From Wellspring Therapy

We are pleased to give you some advance notice about a half-day workshop that we will be running on Saturday 15 October 2016 (10 am – 1 pm) with Lois Addy on Including Children and Young People with Additional Needs in Church Activities. The aim of the workshop is to help those in church ministries adapt their teaching style and materials so that ALL children and young people can hear that God loves them and that they too can have a place in the kingdom of God.

Lois Addy is an independent SEND advisor, teaching both nationally and internationally.  She is the Lead for Cognition and Learning for NYCC, and former lecturer at York St John University. Lois has over 34 years’ experience in working with children with SEN.

The workshop will take place at Jennyfield Evangelical Church in Harrogate. Cost: £10 if you book by 31 August; £12 if you book by 12 October or £15 on the door. Complimentary places available to parents or guardians of children with additional needs. Discount of 10% for church groups of 5 and over.
