Booking A Site
There’s plenty of sites out there ideal for youth groups, places such as the Barnabas centres (barnabas.org.uk) offer reasonably priced adventure weekends/weeks for medium to larger groups with a choice of four venues to choose from.
If you just want a site rather than a site with lots of activities on site why not check out Letton Hall (lettonhall.org), or for smaller groups perhaps some of the sites Red House Youth Projects run. (redhouseyouthprojects.co.uk).
There are probably sites which your church/people in your church have used before so ask around, also be sure to contact your local council and find out if they run sites for youth groups to stay at or where they use for residentials.
Sites vary in cost so much, the best I’ve ever found is a site for just £70 per night which held up to 16 people (plus some space to camp) which is an absolute bargain…be sure to check out the ‘places to stay’ threads in the forum.
Finally make sure you book your site well in advance as often sites are booked up months…and sometimes years in advance!
